Bluecap

A mushroom native to the Velvet Lands, specificallt in the deeper caves surrounding the Ivory Velley river. A blue-coloured fleshy and bulbous body surrounds and grows from a hard wood-like stalk. They are typicaly thirty to fifty centimeters tall, but some grown in controlled environments (such as specialized bluecap farms) have grown up to a meter tall. They exhibit limited bioluminescence, rarely observed due to them naturally growing underground and thus absorbing very little sublight. They are a staple crop and food for the Chirri who live in the area, but are toxic to most other hominids.
